Ballinacurra House Cork Wedding
Easily one of the most relaxed weddings we shot last year was in Ballinacurra House, just outside of picture postcard town of Kinsale. Our couple Jessica and Dermot had travelled home from Canada to throw a lush garden party wedding with friends and family. Together with ever amazing Annie of Aislinn Events, they planned a stylish party with beautiful big floral blooms in delicate soft peaches and creams. The whole setting had a vintage feel to it without trying. It was just effortless like Jessica. When we arrived to Kinsale the sun was shining and everyone was bubbling with excitement. However, we are in Ireland and soon enough the clouds gathered and the rain started to fall. There were talks of a plan B if the skies didn’t start smiling. Jessica and Annie were adamant though that the ceremony would go ahead out side. We would give it ten minutes and wait and see. Quite frankly there is no nicer place to be waiting than Ballinacurra House. Annie as always pulled a magic trick out of her hat and the sun blazed down on the lawn. Linked arm in arm Jessica and her very proud father walked across the green surrounded in smiles and tears of loved ones, to a rather beaming Dermot!
