A Windy Cliff Walk

January 24th. 2017

Cliffs of Moher engagement session

Its been little over a year since the wonderful Jen and Derek took us to the Cliffs of Moher for a windy cliff walk. We met in the bustling cafe of Joes in Lahinch and chatted about their up coming wedding in Doonbeg, all the time hands snuggled around large cups of tea and coffee while the wind and rain howled outside. Eventually we could hide no more and decided to brace ourselves against the winter chill and  create some beautiful memories together. Of course we knew in our hearts this would be just beautiful, isn’t Ireland at her loveliest when she is in the middle of tantrum other wise known as winter! It was late afternoon and as the light dropped so did the temperature and Derek said it…View Full Post.

A Lazy Hazy Wexford Afternoon // Wendy & Peter

June 09th. 2015

A few weeks ago we drove to Wexford to meet up with the lovely Wendy and Peter, who asked us to be apart of their wedding later this year. As this lovely pair live in the Scotland we said we would catch up with them next time they were here for a holibob. What a fantastic evening it was. We walked the grounds of the beautiful Johnstown Castle, went for a bite to eat in the fabulous Wexford town and then out to Curracloe beach to take in the last of the sunshine. Roll on the wedding, and more hilarious chats of lego, gin and subcrawls!!!

Lanzarote | Sara & Tony | Rock the Frock

April 12th. 2015

I loved them. I loved this lady for asking us to do something different. I loved that we were having this top secret conversation on a magical volcanic island. I loved that no one knew! So the day after the wedding we pulled up to their hotel in our tiny rental car and kidnapped Sara and Tony for one lazy afternoon. It was beautiful. They were beautiful. So much so that it wasn’t a trash the dress, it was a rock that frock!

Maria & John | Lovebirdshoot | University Limerick

November 20th. 2014

Sweet, wonderful, full of sunshine Maria met us first in the university of Limerick at a wedding fair, {alas some how John managed to escape that wedding fair day.} It is where she and John met and it just seemed fitting that we would go back there for their Lovebirdshoot. Both admitted that they were a little nervous about the impending photoshoot but after a few minutes we literally lost them to giggles and chatter which with me around was more than contagious!

Karolina & Eoin | Connemara | Ireland | Lovebirdshoot

October 29th. 2014

Awh Karolina and Eoin. What kind and wonderful souls they are. I have been so inspired by Karolina and I guess I continue to have a kindred in spirit in her. She has a heart the size of the universe, she has a childlike wonder in the smallest of things. Like myself Karolina loves nature and to be outdoors. {It really is so good for the heart and mind} The morning after this shoot we all drove around and found a wee beach to soak in the last of the clean air and majesty that Connemara is full of. Karolina and myself went for a paddle while the boys laughed at us shrieking: In fairness we were acting like maggots, all the while being wowed by life under the water.

Sara & Tony | LoveBirdShoot | Lanzarote | Canary Islands

October 07th. 2014

Lanzarote how we miss you and the wonderful evening spent touring around with the vibrant Sara and Tony, sweet hearts from Ireland who fell head over heals with this wildly beautiful volcanic island. Driving around for the few days we were there I can see why. Its stark and vast, explosions of colour pop up from the black soil in the form of peculiar plants, there are stunning mountain scape which are filled pockets of little villages up in the mountains full of shaded squares full of people chatting in the sunshine, The evening of Lovebirdshoot we headed to the sleepy village of Femmes which seemed to be inhabited by only the four of us. It was idilic. Sara and Tony were so loved up, rightly so, as their big day was not too far away. As the even winds started to pick up, we headed to the National Park for one or two more shots. With the Montañas del Fuego keeping a watchful eye over us we watched the sun paint us all incredible shades of gold as it dropped behind the ocean.
