Lanzarote | Sara & Tony | Rock the Frock

“Can I just ask you what you think of trash the dress sessions?” said Sara. She asked me this while the boys were talking about cars. Sara asked me this while we sat sipping our drinks watching the Atlantic ocean change colours in the setting sun. I pondered for a moment. Was the stunning elegant Sara going to trash her beautiful dress with paint and other horrid things? I replied that since we were on a beautiful island it would be a brilliant idea to go out after the wedding and get some more portraits with out the time constraints that a wedding day brings. So what did I think of them trash the dress sessions right there in that moment. I loved them. I loved this lady for asking us to do something different. I loved that we were having this top secret conversation on a magical volcanic island. I loved that no one knew! So the day after the wedding we pulled up to their hotel in our tiny rental car and kidnapped Sara and Tony for one lazy afternoon. It was beautiful. They were beautiful. So much so that it wasn’t a trash the dress, it was a rock that frock!
This one I saved for last. It grabs me every time. Perhaps its because I got to know Sara, a beautiful graceful soul, independent and strong.
